This short trail is a great place to stop and take a break if you are on a long journey, or want to learn a little about the area’s history.
Starting at the Pictographs parking lot, it is only a short 15 to 20 minute hike to get to the Pictographs. Follow the trail for about 150 meters. Where trail divides, take the route marked to the Pictographs.
Allow extra time for picture taking and to read the interpretive panel which explains some of the history of these red ochre paintings. This short trail is a great place to stop and take a break if you are on a long journey, or want to learn a little about the area’s history.
Today, visitors can view the pictographs from land, but great views can also be experienced from a kayak or canoe.
Launch your canoe or kayak at Sinclair Cove and it is approximately a 15 minute paddle one-way to the Pictographs.
